Happy MLK Jr. Day ❤

Today in the US we celebrate a truly special day & a truly special man: Martin Luther King Jr, or as we say MLK.

He was a man of God, following God’s leading in His life. A true inspiration, a leader like few in history. MLK is one of my favorite people in history as you can tell lol. I don’t just think of MLK today bc it’s his holiday but he’s actually one of those people I look up to. Every time I feel like giving up, I look to MLK for inspiration. And God of course, but MLK provides such an amazing modern day example. 💖

You just never know what plans God has for you. MLK’s life was cut tragically short, but what he did in his short life has dramatically shifted history & changed our lives for the better. He followed God’s leading in his life. You never know what plan God has for you. God has great plans for all us, & only we can carry out that specific plan. 💖 I am so grateful & glad MLK followed God’s leading. It is truly incredible & beyond remarkable. He is an example to follow. 💖 A true inspiration. 💖🙏

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
