  1. Congratulations on the nomination! I agree that is difficult to pick as I love all the blogs I follow and the friendships that develop from following each other and commenting on each other’s post. πŸ™‚

    1. I’m the same – I haven’t had cable TV at home since 2006 (although I do have a television). I will admit to watching PBS and Food Network on occasion when visiting family, though! πŸ˜‰

      1. Awesome! Yes I watch Food Network when they have their baking championships, but once its over I dont watch anymore lol. & Sometimes the Spain (TV EspaΓ±a) channel has interesting shows about food, culture & social issues. Oh I do watch Elmo with my nieces πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ lol

      2. I must admit to being an internittent fan of Chopped and Iron Chef Gauntlet, but that’s about it for Food Network. On PBS, I enjoy the Great British Baking Show and most (but not all) of the Masterpiece programs.

However, most of the time, I feel overstimulated by TV (especially commercials!) and so cannot watch very much in one sitting.

I was not aware of TV Espana, but I have heard of Elmo (although he was not around when I was little!). πŸ™‚

      3. I dont remember elmo from when I was little either… I wasnt allowed to watch very much tv & when I did, it wasnt sesame street most times lol. I loved rainbow bright & Jem. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Sometimes I watched for Grover but I just dont remenber elmo, he must have not been around yet lol.
I just feel bored with tv. It feels lke a whole lot of nothing most times! I like shows with more informstion & most shows today are just empty! I learn more by reading or watching more “educational” shows. I sound so lame LOL πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I need to check out that British bake off never seen it! Iron chef, I got upset they eliminated unfairly a guy last season & I stopped watching LOL πŸ˜‚ Im too sensitive for these things lol.

      4. Yes, I too was upset about the way that cooking show ended! I like interesting documentaries, nature programs (I loved Planet Earth and Planet Earth II), and other things that make me think. I’m like you, though – at home, my apartment is silent most of the time. I listen to podcasts and stream music amd exercise videos, but not much else!

        PS – I too remember JEM. πŸ˜‰
