Recently I had the priviledge of joining a friend from church & her family in celebrating her high school graduation!!! She truly exemplifies everything in this passage because even though I’m older, she is an example for me of so many things. πŸ’–

As I looked around and saw those young faces, I couldn’t help but think of myself at that age. I remember how impressionable I was. Every word coming from someone’s mouth or attitude toward me, had a very deep impression on me. And many were meant to hurt me, and they did. For a long time I let other peoples judgements of me govern my thoughts and my emotions. Later on in my young adulthood, this lead to a deep depression, identity, & anxiety issues.

I praise the Lord for what He did in my life! But my point is, that if I had stayed close to God during those years, I would’ve avoided all the trouble I went through. My prayer for every single graduate, is that you stay close to God no matter what. The world will be harsh just the same to everyone, & it will try its very best to separate you from your first Love. But only with God will you be able to weather the storms, & reach your purpose! I pray that you let your identity be rooted in Jesus & nothing else, because everything in this world in temporary. We could be highly successful individuals but if we don’t have Jesus, we have nothing! πŸ™πŸ»

So remember to surround yourself with good friends who truly love God so you encourage each other! (this is vital! Lol) And for the glory of God, you can make a big difference in the world! God has put dreams in you for a reason! God bless you & congratulations on your great achievement!! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ’–πŸ’žπŸŽ‰

β™‘ Ecclesiastes 12:1 >>>
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”–

β™‘ Psalm 92: 12-13 >>>
The righteous will flourishΒ like a palm tree, Β they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13Β planted in the house of theΒ Lord, Β they will flourish in the courts of our God.
