Hey guys! I just wanted to wish you all a very happy & blessed Thanksgiving! 💖 In this age of social media, it can be hard to be grateful. It can begin to seem like nothing is good enough if you succomb to the pressure.😧 Especially around the holidays when everything seems to demand an extra level of “perfection.” But I always say, aim for excellence, not perfection. Because perfection is just a mirage. It is not real. The reality, is that there’s always “flaws,” & that is great! We just need to give all of that to the Lord, & be happy & content with what we have, or else we will be in a state of constant ungratefulness, insatisfaction, & even sadness & anxiety, & the Lord doesn’t want that for us. The Lord can take anything in yourself or your life you deem a “flaw” & use it for His glory! 🙌🏻 You just have to give Him your heart, trust in Him, be obedient, & He will do the work! 🙌🏻❤
💖 Being grateful is about being content with what you have, & recognizing the blessings from the LORD! 🙏🏻😍🙌🏻 It brings peace & joy into your heart. 💖
💖 Jesus is what’s important, being in His presence, being filled with God’s love & sharing that love with others! It really doesn’t matter if you have the most “perfect” outfit, etc. 👉 What matters is having the love of God fill our hearts, which without we will be left feeling empty & eternally unsatisfied.
❤ The more we share God’s love & our blessings with others, the more blessed we will be!! 💖🙌🏻 👉 If you have a hard time feeling God’s love, gratitude, peace, or joy, ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit & to make you aware of anything you need to change within yourself, ask for forgiveness of your sins, & to remove anything that doesn’t please Him from your life. 🙏🏻
💖 By having God’s love in your heart & sharing it with others & sharing your blessings, is the way to have the most EXCELLENT & dare I say truly perfect holiday! 😍😍
