❤💕 This has been my daily prayer lately. We live a world that glorifies & upholds those who are selfish & prideful. Those who refuse to serve others & only think about themselves & their own pleasure & comfort, are honored in this world.

But we all know this world is lost. All of these qualities God hates, & we must hate what He hates as His followers. We must refuse what satan has to offer. We may receive temporary rewards for acting these ways. But they are just that, TEMPORARY. Only the Kingdom of God is eternal, & only what we do that pleases Him will remain.

Satan offered Jesus the whole world, if only Jesus would bow down to him. This is the exact dilemma we are facing right now. Satan has not changed his strategy. It’s the same serpent of old. Trying to get us to worship him instead of our Creator & Saviour. The one true God.
.
We must ask the Lord to give us a servant heart. To change us & remove any bit of pride & selfishness. I ask everyday because it can be too easy nowadays to harden our hearts & act like world. To act as if the world revolves around us & get applauded for doing things & having attitudes that God hates.

Jesus, being the Son of God, came to serve & not be served. I pray that the Lord will help me through His Holy Spirit, to live a life of serving from the heart. Not for self glory, for God’s glory. May we be like Jesus everyday, who refused to bow down to the enemy. May He be glorified in every little thing we do!

5 Then the devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6“I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory,” he said. “For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish. 7 So if You worship me, it will all be Yours.”

8But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’
