My new menorah! πβ‘οΈπππ» I am SOO in love with it!You may be asking yourself, why would Non- Jewish followers of Yeshua have a menorah? Well there are many reasons, the menorah has great Biblical significance!
β‘ Light- The menorah is God’s creation, was directed by Him to be placed in the Tabernacle in the Old Testament. It represents God’s light & the Messiah, & the seven churches π A reminder that the Lord is the light of the world! Revelation 21:23 says,
” The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.”
β‘ An everlasting covenant- A symbol of God’s faithfulness! The Lord wants to tabernacle with US! πππ» He will never leave us not forsake us.
β‘ This is an excerpt from an article on oneforisrael.org:
“The items in the desert tabernacle spoke of what was to come in the New Covenant β one bride of Messiah: Jew and Gentile called together, brought purified and clean before God to dwell with him. What a powerful symbol, and what riches are spoken by the God-designed menorah. How wonderful it is to have been brought into the New Covenant, and that we can see the fulfillment in Yeshua, the One to whom the menorah points.”
There’s quite a few more meanings to it, but these are the ones that stood out to me, & I decided to purchase one π₯Ήππ I love that this one has the cross as well, I have never seen that before.ππ
A menorah reminds me of God’s passionate, perfect, eternal love for us. He is our first love! He rescued & redeemed us! Glory to God! πππ»ππ
