I know whom I have believed…

I love these words that Paul wrote, when we truly KNOW The Lord, when we get to know His character, when we seek Him, He reveals Himself to us, we get to see Him in such undeniable ways working in our lives, we experience His love, grace, mercy, faithfulness, etc., all His goodness, we know only He is worthy of our full trust & adoration, & our faith becomes unshakeable, by His grace. We KNOW who we believe in.

There are times the enemy tries to be VERY sneaky & tries to makes me doubt if I am making the right choice in living for God. The enemys always like, “you’re so weird. Look at everyone else how they live. You’re not like everyone else. Why are you trying to be so holy. This is why you’re single. Just go watch that one show. Just dress more provocative & you will get a date. Maybe you’re living too much for God & need to tone it down.” not even joking. These thoughts are from the devil! This is why I feel like I have to know the Bible so well because when these thougts come, I know the Word of God, my sword. My faith is my shield against these fiery darts. I KNOW in whom I have believed!!

Do you KNOW in whom you have believed? If you don’t yet, pray to the Lord & let Him know that you desire to truly get to know Him at a deeper level.

Living for God is the single BEST desicion we could ever make! The fiery darts will come, but the Lord is faithful. He will not let us go from His hand. 🤲🏻❤🙏🏻🙌🏻

♡ 2 Timothy 1:8-12 ♡
So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me, His prisoner. Instead, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.
9 He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.
10 And now He has revealed this grace through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the gospel,
11 to which I was appointed as a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher.
12 For this reason, even though I suffer as I do, I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.
