My Mom always tells me this story, of the day of my dads conversion to Jesus. β€ My parents are now very devout followers of Jesus, & all through my childhood as I remember, but around the time when I was born was when they began seeking the Lord. My Mom was Catholic & my Dad was nothing basically lol.
So one day they were visiting a church, my Mom had already accepted Jesus & she was praying my Dad would too for some time. They visited this church & upon arriving they had us kids, & my Dad parked incorrectly, & a deacon came out to yell at them extremely rudelyππ’π My Mom felt this voice telling her to leave, see how rude this deacon was?! But she felt in her spirit that she should not. Although they had this terrible experience of being yelled at, she knew they still should stay for the service.
That day my father accepted Jesus as his personal Lord & Saviour in that service!! & my father today is a Pastor & he & my mom have helped countless people know the Lord, including myself!!! Glory to God!!!!πππ»π
The enemy knows full well what is possible when we hear the Gospel & will try to put stumbling blocks & distractions to get us away from God & His plans & purposes!! He will try ANYTHING to separate us from God’s Word! Lord rebuke him!
We need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, ask God for wisdom & discernment to not follow our impulse feelings or our heart which can be so deceitful & lead us away the Truth. When we don’t obey the Holy Spirit, we grieve Him.(Eph.4:30) But when we do listen & obey Him, He leads us to victory! We are capable of doing things & discerning things that’s impossible on our own!! Everyday, may we walk in the Spirit & obey the voice of the Holy Spirit & not grieve Him. Lord help us to do that, in Jesus name, Amen. π
β‘ John 16:13 β‘
But when He the, Spirit of truth, shall come, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He may hear, He will speak. And He will declare to you the things coming.
β‘ Jeremiah 17:9 β‘
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
β‘ Jeremiah 33:3 β‘
βCall to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.β
