How many times have you called or been called by a loved one, & upon hearing their voice, you automatically recognize who they are. We don’t have to ask, who is this? Because we know them, we recognize their voice!
In the same way, we need to get to know the Shepherd to recognize His voice. Jesus is the good Shepherd who guides us, protects us, & cares for us. He knows who each of us are!! We are not just one more in a bunch… He knows ALL of His sheep!
In turn, as His sheep, our response must be to follow His voice, obey Him. To get to know Him intimately by praying & reading His Word, so we can always recognize His voice. That is the true mark of His sheep, we recognize & follow His voice & no one else’s. 🐑🤍✨️
