How many times have you called or been called by a loved one, & upon hearing their voice, you automatically recognize who they are. We don’t have to ask, who is this? Because we know them, we recognize their voice!
In the same way, we need to get to know the Shepherd to recognize His voice. Jesus is the good Shepherd who guides us, protects us, & cares for us. He knows who each of us are!! We are not just one more in a bunch… He knows ALL of His sheep!
In turn, as His sheep, our response must be to follow His voice, obey Him. To get to know Him intimately by praying & reading His Word, so we can always recognize His voice. His sheep recognize & follow His voice & no one else’s. 🐑🤍✨️

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, [e]as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
