Another way we can please the Lord is by putting all of our hope in Him & only Him. Things like money, good looks, a great career, education, relationships, can of course offer help & relief, but only temporarily. These can be blessings given by God to us, but they should never be the source of our hope because they are all temporary things. If we put our hope on temporary things, sooner or later we will find ourselves disappointed, empty, & lost. .
But God never changes & He is the GIVER of ALL good things. (James 1:17) He is eternal, & He is the same now & for ever. He is the only one WORTHY because He keeps His every promise. He is GOOD & wants nothing but the best for us.(Jeremiah 29:11) He wants to save us! 💖 (John 3:16-17)
So if we want to please God, & want to find real hope, we need to recognize the truth that God is our only hope! He is our strenght💪(Isaiah 40:31), & ONLY through Jesus can we obtain salvation (John 14:6), victory over the enemy (John 16:33), & freedom!💖 (John 8:36)
We are promised an inheritance through Jesus that is eternal & imperishable!! & He also gives us so many blessings right now, through the Holy Spirit which seals us when we accept Jesus Christ as our saviour! (Eph.1:13)💖🙏🏻
It is infinitely worth putting all our hope in the Lord! 🙌🏻💖🙏🏻
the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. ♡Psalm 147:11♡
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. ♡1 Peter 1:3-6♡
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
♡Isaiah 40:31♡
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ♡Jeremiah 29:11♡
