The First day: LIGHT! He illuminated the darkness, the void. Which means there was NOTHING there before… just emptiness. He separated the light He just created, from the darkness. He created everything from nothing, spoke them into existence.

He did not create the sun or moon just yet… (He created them later on the 4th day). This light came from Himself! “Let there be light!” means He is the source of light! Physical light AND light into our lives, our souls! ❤🙌🏻

It’s so amazing to think about all of this! And to think that in Revelation it says there will be no sun because He will be the source of light! The Bible is so perfect. Thank you Lord for Your Word & bringing Your perfect, amazing light into our lives!! ❤😭🙌🏻
