Creation Day 2

DAY 2: SKY. ☁️❤☁️ On this day, God separated the waters to make the sky. Now you may ask yourself, what water?! There’s been no mention of water?! (I asked myself lol). So when we go back to verses 1-2, we can see how God made water on day 1…

♡ “1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.”

These waters that the Spirit of God was hovering over, were literally just created by God. John 1:1-3 says,
♡ “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.”

It was literally, the beginning! And now day 2, He separated these waters He just created to make the sky! ☁️ GLORY TO GOD! ☁️❤

♡ Genesis 1:6-8 ♡
6 And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.” 7 So God made the expanse and separated the waters beneath it from the waters above. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse “sky.”
And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

7 E hizo Dios la expansión, y separó las aguas que estaban debajo de la expansión, de las aguas que estaban sobre la expansión. Y fue así.
8 Y llamó Dios a la expansión Cielos. Y fue la tarde y la mañana el día segundo.
