It’s good to have a good support system of Godly people who love us &Β desire God’s best for us! And we should always seek help when we need it! I thank God for the people who were there when I needed it. πππ» However I learned in my experience when I dealt with “mental health issues” (people nowadays call it that I know it was spiritual) & finding Jesus (He had already provided a way out for me through all of it, I just needed to open my heart in faith), is that at the end of the day, I had to seek Jesus myself & have a real relationship with Him. Nobody, no human can save you, not yourself, only JESUS can save us! ππ»π
.
So we should NEVER rely on our own strenght or on others as this is a dangerous trap, if we do this, when we or the other person fails, then you will inevitably fall apart because you had put your trust on something that was not solid. Anything other than Jesus is not solid. Pastors, mentors, family, friends, they are all wonderful amazing blessings, & it’s good to seek their help, but they are not JESUS. Only Jesus is that solid rock to build your house upon. Everything else is sand.
.
At the end of the day, it’s just you & God so cultivate a relationship with Jesus!!! We each must work out our own salvation with fear & trembling. Invite the Holy Spirit into your life daily & repent of your sins daily too!!
.
By putting my full trust in Jesus, He healed me of those mental health issues & now I don’t feel held back by the weight of depression, anxiety, etc. & I can help others for God’s glory! ππ»π We become truly emotionally healed, stable, & free by first declaring our dependence on Jesus Christ! ππ»ππ»π

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
