Living with Conviction

I’ve been thinking how important conviction is for us as followers of Christ, It’s more important than ever in the times we are living in, to have conviction. To be fully sure about your faith & what you believe, the reasons why. This is the only way we will firmly stand during trials & tribulations, when our faith is questioned.
.
When somebody lacks conviction, they don’t know what they believe in. The Bible says, without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb.11:6). We must be completely sure of our faith in God. The one who doubts is ” like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” (James 1:6).
.
In order to develop our faith & convictions, we have to know God personally.
.
We need to understand the attributes of God, who He is, His character. We need to know where God stands on things, because that is exactly where we too need to stand, not by what other people say. Knowing God’s heart through His Word. ❤
.
We do this by reading the Bible, discipleship, Bible studies, & praying. This is all super important to build our faith! ❤
.
A Sunday sermon each week is not enough to grow. We need to keep feeding ourselves the Word of God in different ways, all throughout the week. ❤
.
When we seek the Lord wholeheartedly, He reveals Himself to us, & our faith gets stronger because we’ve seen Him (not physically), but felt Him & the Holy Spirit! That’s our conviction, unmistakable proof that God is real, when we have experienced His love for us & gotten to know God personally! When we’ve seen His mighty hand work in our lives in undeniable ways!❤

♡ Jeremiah 29:13 ♡
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

♡ James 4:8 ♡
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

♡ Romans 8:24-25 ♡
24 For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
