JESUS LOVES YOU! It’s the BEST REASON to SMILE! 💛😃🥰

Have you ever noticed some Christians look so sad & bitter, even angry, literally all the time? 😥🙏🏻 This has always puzzled me. #butwhy We have JESUS! What greater reason is there to simply rejoice?

The Bible commands us to rejoice in the Lord & joy is a fruit of the Spirit. When we live with an attitude of not rejoicing in the Lord, we are sinning against God because the Bible commands us to rejoice in Him, & it’s like we’re telling Him with our attitudes, ‘You are not good enough to bring joy to my heart.’ Ouch.😭😭😭😔💔💔💔💔💔😔😔😔😭😭😭 We need to repent of this state of being constantly unhappy, ungrateful, bitter, etc. We need to ask God to help us realize ONLY HE IS the one who satisfies!🙏🏻💛🙏🏻🙌🏻

Yes we can be serious, obviously many life situations call for us to be serious. But overall our heart & attitude must reflect the love of God, a loving attitude, & the fruit of Spirit which includes joy. NOT a spirit of bitterness, anger, resentment, envy, etc. We have to repent of those things & ask the Lord to cleanse our hearts from all impurity. We have the GREATEST reason to smile each & every day: The AMAZING love of our Lord!

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.

14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18  And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. ²⁴ And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

²⁵ If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. ²⁶ Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
