How Can We Know Jesus?

My little niece asked me this question the other day! How do I know Jesus? If she cannot see Him, how can she know him? Such an amazing question! Especially since I’ve been reflecting on knowing God. It made me reflect on my relationship with the Lord. The Lord definetely uses children. 🙌🏻💕👧🏻

👉🏻 The 1st step to get to know Jesus is to repent of your sins & accept Him in your heart! & if you’ve already accepted Him, remember that sin always separates us from the Lord, so we must repent continually of our sins.🙏🏻

👉🏻 The 2nd steps to know the Lord are by reading the Bible (studying it & applying it to our lives), prayer (talking to God), & worship (singing to God, praising Him, & living in obedience)! 💖🙌🏻🙏🏻📖

👉🏻 We must set aside personal, alone time to spend with God, & we must cherish this time as with a dear loved one, BUT SO much more! He is our 1st LOVE! 😍 How much more should we enjoy & cherish our alone time with Him?!

👉🏻 Prepare a physical space where you can have your alone time with God. Away from other people, distractions, & noise. Set aside time daily in your calendar to get to your space & be with the Lord, uninterrupted! The best time is the morning because the Lord wants this 1st part of our day, & it will make your days SO MUCH BETTER!

👉🏻 This is a time to surrender, let the Lord speak to us, give the Lord your burdens, requests, tell Him whats in your heart, to be refreshed, strenghted, & renewed!

It’s a time to learn more about His character, through His Word. It’s a time to reconcile, fortify your relationship with Him, to have communion with the Lord. To solidify your relationship with God & continue to grow in Him! It’s His will that we GROW & not remain stagnant in our faith!

I want to keep getting to know the Lord & open my heart to Him! My goal: to know the Lord & be known by Him!

The Lord wants to have fellowship with us, He wants to reveal Himself to us, if we just seek Him in faith continually. 💖🙏🏻📖
