Depending on The Lord

I’m learning more & more everyday what it means to depend on God! This is my definition of depending on God, although it encompasses a lot of things, but to me essentially it means going to Him FIRST with ALL your cares, needs, worries, gratefulness/ joyful news, everything!!! He always listens, always cares, always answers, & I always feel such peace ❤😌🙏🏻☺️🙌🏻

How would you define depending on God? What does it mean to you?

I pray the Holy Spirit will lead us to depend on Him more & more everyday! Not on others, not on ourselves, but on Him & His Word.❤🙏🏻😌

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;

Thus says the Lord:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
    and makes flesh his strength,
    whose heart turns away from the Lord.
6 He is like a shrub in the desert,
    and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness,
    in an uninhabited salt land.
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
    whose trust is the Lord.
8 He is like a tree planted by water,
    that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
    for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
    for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
