The Church Has to be Different than the World

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior & repented of your sins, believed in your heart that He is the Son of God & rose from the dead on the 3rd day & confessed it, you are a child of God! Congratulations! 🥳🙌🏻 We are the Christ’s body, the CHURCH.❤

The church is the bride of Christ, SET APART for Him, for His special purposes ONLY. We are only passing by this earth. Our time here is short & temporary, but what we choose to do here impacts eternity. We really are not to adopt the customs & way of life of this sinful earth.

The church HAS to be different than the world. We cannot look like the world in our conduct or way of life. We must live to please, honor & glorify God alone, every single day of our lives!

We represent the light of Christ, we represent HOPE to other people who are still trying to escape the darkness of sin. We cannot shine if we act exactly like the world! Darkness cannot drive out darkness! I’m not talking about just outward apperearance, but lifestyle choices & inward attitudes.

WE MUST BE DIFFERENT. People must see something different in us. They must see the love of God reflected in our attitudes. 🥺❤ But we cannot shine in the midst of this darkness if inside, we are dark too.🥺🙏🏻

Nobody can give what they dont have. Make sure you are filled with the Holy Spirit daily. Connecting with God. Repenting of sins. Pray, read His Word, worship God. Because we cannot be different than the world without the help of the Holy Spirit. We will easily succomb to pressure to act or react certain ways that the world says is correct but only by reading His Word & through the conviction of the Holy Spirit we will know it doesnt please God. Our minds need to be constantly renewed. 🙌🏻 That way we can make sure we are relying on God & not ourselves.✅💯🙌🏻💕

Remember we are SET APART. We are not like the world. We are here to represent the HOPE OF JESUS. God bless you ❤
