How Can We Be Perfect as Jesus said?

• How can we be perfect? • In this verse, Jesus calls us to be perfect. But how is this possible, if we are sinful human beings? We are not capable of living lives completely free of sin. We all sin. So why did Jesus say this?

Jesus is coming back for a church that is “without spots or wrinkle.” We must be thoroughly washed of our sin, as much as possible. We do this with the help of the Holy Spirit. This, is the perfection Jesus was talking about. It is achievable only through the Holy Spirit & not by our strength. The Holy Spirit alerts us when something is sinful in our lives & leads us to repentance. 💖🙏🏻

Times are perilous, but we must focus on Jesus now more than ever. This is not about your works although those things are good & they should be evidence of a good working faith, but this is about the condition of your heart. Man can only see what is outside, but God looks at your heart. Only God can see all our deepest thoughts, desires, etc. It is about the condition of our heart. God will separate the wheat from the chaff, the goats from the sheep. He cannot be mocked. We cannot fool God. We need to TRULY repent.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, follow it’s leading in our lives, & obey God’s Word, we become part of that perfect church body the Lord will be returning for! This is not about how it may look on the outside but about what’s inside. Only God knows what is inside your heart. I pray that if you have not FULLY given your life to Jesus, you do it today my friend. Because the time is near. .
