This is not the time to be lukewarm… The BIGGEST reason why Christians celebrate this demonic holiday is because they say, we’re not doing witchcraft, it’s “harmless fun.” Well, even if you celebrate in a “non scary” way, October 31st is a day with a dark historical past filled with pagan & demonic rituals. Nowadays witchcraft & satan are still celebrated on this day more than any other day of the year. This is a day of celebration for our enemy! Do you think this would provoke God’s jealousy, us being the church, His bride? Yes it does. We need to be faithful to our Lord no matter what the culture is doing around us! We are called to be set apart! Why would any follower of Christ join in the festivities in any way shape or form, of the enemy of our souls?
Continuing to follow worldly traditions will keep you in bondage- The Bible says we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross & follow Him. This means leaving things of the world behind. It means ridding yourself of the worldly customs, thinking patterns, & traditions that has kept you in bondage. The Bible says we need to get rid of everything that weighs us down so we can keep persevering in the Lord. Celebrating Halloween will hinder your relationship with the Lord & can stunt your progress. Don’t underestimate how serious this is! We need to renew our minds to stop desiring things of the world!
Celebrating Halloween is bottomline not God’s will for any of us, as it doesn’t glorify God, promotes death, darkness & the occult. Celebrating in ANY way grieves the Holy Spirit, & even opens the door to the demonic to come into your life. As innocent as the world may want to make it look, the fact is that there’s spirits at work behind it all. If a Christian were to partake in celebrating, that opens a door & gives demons legal ground to come into your life (the person celebrating is granting permission for the demons to come into their life & the life of their family). The best thing to do is not get involved in anything that has to do with the occult!
(Bible verses below⤵️)
♡ Ephesians 5:8-17 ♡
8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, 9for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth. 10Test and prove what pleases the Lord.
11Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible,b for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself. 14So it is said:
“Wake up, O sleeper,
rise up from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
15 Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
♡ 2 Corinthians 6:14 ♡
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
♡ Romans 12:2 ♡
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
♡ 1 Peter 2:9 ♡
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
