An Encounter with Jesus Christ

BY FAR! The BEST thing that has ever happened to me is Jesus Christ! He is truly all we need. If we don’t have Him, we don’t have anything!

Some people pass away not knowing the Lord & that is truly tragic. They focus so much on “having fun” here on earth in this life. But this is all temporary. It really doesn’t matter what kind of life you had before coming to Christ. When we repent of our sins, the Lord transforms everything from the inside out.

The thief who repented right before his death, might have had a life here on earth full of mistakes, suffering, & wrongdoings, but AT THAT MOMENT, when he had an ENCOUNTER with the Lord, the Son of God, the only One capable of forgiving our sins, & the thief repented. AT THAT MOMENT, his debt was erased! At that moment, this thief became a heir to the Kingdom!! He was redeemed! NOTHING that hapenned before that moment even matters anymore! 😭🙌💗

Or think of Paul, who had a personal encounter with Jesus on his way to Damascus. The disciples, EVERYONE who encounters Jesus is not left the same!!

All we need is an encounter with the Son of God. In that moment, we are convicted by the Holy Spirit, we repent, the Lord erases our past & gives us eternal life, a new future with Him. We all need a personal encounter with the Lord. That personal encounter, putting our faith in Jesus, understanding that He is the Son of God, is what will set us on the course for a new life with Him.💗🙌🏻

♡ Luke 23:39-43 ♡
One of the criminals who hung there heaped abuse on Him. “Are You not the Christ?” he said. “Save Yourself and us!”
40 But the other one rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same judgment?
41 We are punished justly, for we are receiving what our actions deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!”
43 And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

♡ Acts 9:3-5 ♡ 3 As Saul drew near to Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?”
5“Who are You, Lord?” Saul asked.
“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” He replied.
