The danger of compartmentalizing our relationship with God ⚠️

When we compartmentalize our relationship with God, we are knowingly or unknowingly keeping God out of certain areas of our lives. This is very dangerous because it can make us fall for the enemy’s lie that if things look good on the outside, that’s all that matters. Or that we can be 2 different people with 2 different sets of values & still call ourselves Christian. No, God examines our hearts & He wants & deserves complete surrender from us! We must live with integrity, being one person all of the time.💖

Compartmentalizing creates separation between us & God, because you give yourself premission for “certain sins” because it’s sort of like you tell God, “hands off this part of my life, you don’t belong over here. You only belong over there.” When truly God deserves first place in EVERY AREA of our lives.

God knows & sees absolutely everything we do & think. Only God can do this. We cannot hide from Him. He already knows your struggles, so just be honest. He desires that we are honest with Him about our struggles & simply surrender our whole selves to Him, & not try to hide anything or try to “deal with things on our own.” He wants to help us. We truly can’t do anything on our own. I learned this the hard way! 😅🙌🏻🌟🙏🏻 Glory to God!

If we want to see God’s hand in every area of our lives, we must also surrender every area if our lives to Him!🤲🏻💖

♡ Psalm 139:1-7 ♡
O LORD, You have searched me
and known me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
You understand my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down;
You are aware of all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
You know all about it, O LORD.
5 You hem me in behind and before;
You have laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go to escape Your Spirit?
Where can I flee from Your presence?
